Ākonga takatāpui

We provide comprehensive support services to help learners succeed in their journey.

Effective assessment strategies s

As with all our learners, members of the rainbow community deserve a safe, inclusive, supportive and accessible learning environment. We are committed to enabling our ākonga takatāpui | rainbow learners to embrace who they are, and we firmly believe that this creates a better and more successful learning experience.

We recognise that for our ākonga takatāpui, this can come with its challenges and having the resources and systems in place to support you on your learning journey is essential. Our hauora page has more information on looking after your general wellbeing, including mental health support services.

On this page, you can find information about a variety of nationwide support services for rainbow people, as well as regional support services and social/recreational networks.
