Brandi Hudson

Brandi Hudson is Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Rarua, Ngāti Pikiao and was raised on her whānau papakainga in the Maniapoto. She has had a diversified career in central and local government, corporate, Māori Economic Development, Treaty of Waitangi Settlements, Education, Sport and Health.

Brandi is presently the Māori Health Directive for Pinnacle PHO in Kirkiriroa. She has held executive leadership roles for the past 10 years and was the inaugural CEO for the Independent Māori Statutory Board (IMSB) in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. The focus of this work was on policy, legislation and planning and to promote the unique and distinctive identity of Māori.

She is married to Associate Professor, Maui Hudson. They have two sons and a daughter and spend much of their time involved in various sports that their children play. They often return home to be with whānau in Otorohanga and Opotiki.
